Meeting your Nemesis

Winds blew and trees shook while the storm ripped through the urban neighbhood. Houses were visibly damaged and streets signs began to come out of their roots. Waters rushed in from highways right into the center of town. Cars became free floating and the currant picked up. Fires errupted inside homes where stoves and heaters had exploded. The huricane stayed in town for 8 days. 8 was significant for some reason. it seemed to be just one more than nessisary. It was as if the storm was gloating. This storms name was Sheela.

Time, when it plays in the past

What we are trying to convey with this story is how events and their order are meaningless. We want to feel the interweaving story lines as integral to each other while having two distinct morals. When stories are told a majority define progress and plot movement in a forward moving timeline. This will not be the case here.
This entire story has a time line that is backwards,
The plot order: A funeral, wedding, operation, birth, diagnosis, sonogram, what caused the illness(smoking), people conceiving the child, temptation, falling in love. Every other event is the same story line; so in essenace the funeral, operation, diagnosis, enjoying smoking, temptation, meeting are all events to one side of the story; while the wedding, birthm sonogram, conception, falling in love, are all the events to the second half of the story.

Excerpt from a Soldiers blog:

The rains have taken the summer off again, and the desert winds are no escape from this relentless heat. Skirmishes are daily and our attention to roadside detail has been more than stressful lately. Our crew is now weary of the local challenges. And when help does come; in the form of a local figure head to mend the region, the official is usually targeted by radicals and our job becomes tougher. Communication from the top says our efforts are creating stability but all we see are the slums and the impoverished being taken advantage off, not a good way to bring diplomacy and democracy into a country in my opinion. If there is anything that I have learned about humanity while over here is that the world citizens want peace and this faction of society that wants chaos couldn’t exist without it. Us being here is just fueling this extremism fire.

The Native Love story

In a time before civilizations, before gases started to puncture out of the earth and into the skies. Before water began to homogenize, there was a delicate dance of materials around our Star. Gases and Metals had already collected to their default states and stable positions. While above Earth, the slab of rock that had been ejected from some collision began to take a beating protecting its life providing neighbor from asteroids. However material from other worlds did find their way to our world. As Earth began to cool, Nature began to take form...

WWWW

(Tune-in channel 23232323.00) There will be a gusty north diagonal ion storm this morning bringing with it a cloud of negatively charged particles. You know what that means!… particle suits! Everyones got to wear their particle suits today
“Ahhh mom! I don’t want to wear my particle suit today. look out side, the galaxy-weather meteorologist is always wrong.”

WWWW, or boxW , is a self contained artificial intelligence radio station. It was created by the first intelligent civilization who inhabited our Milkyway galaxy. Radio astronomers found WWWW broadcasting frequency in the dark ages of astronomy. But it took some time for anyone to find the infentesibly small changes in the frequency to discover the greatest find in human history. Deciphering the broadcast is the most difficult of challenges. The task for finding the cipher has been sent to think tanks all over the world. While very little is understood of the broadcasts, we do know that we cannot pinpoint it. The signal appears to emanate from everywhere. It also seems to be something of an entity, feeding off of the gases of the galaxy arms.

Iragowa Hokokoma

This is a legend that has been passed down generation to generation from whence it was started in feudal Japan. There is action and romance; defeats and great victories; comedy and tragedy; and a female main character. This historical story was the first movie that was every produced by Japanese film studios. The production team that filmed the movie reenacted the events of this historical Japanese Hero tale without any rights or legal claims about the historical events they depicted. The movie was only selectively seen because very few cities in Japan in the 1920s had movie projectors. The Japanese culture responded negatively to the movie because they felt showing the story greatly undermined the Japanese heritage of story telling through banquets and parades. Several months after the movie came out a self claimed descendent of Iragowa came to media attention. Her name Derishedo Hokomowa (means “line of truth”). She was a 30 year single lady that lived in a town on the outskirts of Mushimoto, a central location in the historical events centered around Iragowa Hokokomas life. Derishedo was in a point of her life where she felt she had no meaning and needed a big turn of events in her favor. She heard about the movie from a friend and traveled a long distance to see it. When she arrived at the hut playing the movie she began to question herself. Why did she travel so far to see a movie about her relatives? As apprehensive as she was she felt ancestry walk her in and sit her down. The hut that was as big as a small hut; and was beginning to fill quite rapidly now as a person came in. The light dimmed, and the movie played. At the end a silence mulled over the audience. Derishedo got up and said “のはどのように起こった!”,everyone agreed with her, and mumbled in affirmation. As she was storming down the aisle out the theater she felt a pull on her arm. In one pull she was yanked into a ticket booth adjacent to the aisle and sat down underneath bright light.

The day the sun rose from the west: a western

The night was dark and a haze settled over the small mining town of Bridgemark. The town was made up of a central bar with an adjoining church surrounded by a shanty town that housed 136 of the hardest working California miners the gold rush had ever seen. This night was moonless as the haze strangled the sky for every once of light. Families on this night found themselves wrapped up tight with stories and playthings, while the lonely single jobmen congregated at the bar; telling stories and looking for playthings. The dark bar was brimming tonight with scantily clad dames that must have heard word of a gold find and were looking to hustle their way into their fair share. The miners were a precarious group that wanted nothing but their money, whisky, and pussy; and when something or someone got in the way of that they often found themselves buried alongside the treasure of the mountains. As tales of folklore were exchanged, the criminalistic miners gave accounts of past lives and run ins with the law. Overtime the stories became so robust and layered that no patron could deny the validity of the tales. One such tale solidifies Bridgemark’s place in the history books, as the home town of Cane DeMarcus…

A fluid built up in Charlie that was familiar but it had never crossed his hairpin mind that this same fluid would change his life. The next morning Charlie found himself being used just like any other day. However he had plans to make this day different. Once in his place of morning darkness Charlie exhaled. There was a scream! “Something in me peed up me!” and then shouting between two parties followed. A jostle moved Charlie out of place and again another scream sent a crack up Charlie’s spine. Then out of nowhere a huge punch came to the side of the Wang and shattered Charlie into several hundred pieces…

Living the Lie

A salesman walks into an office building out of the pouring rain. He shakes his umbrella and hangs up his jacket in a coat room filled with coats dripping wet. As he heads to the elevator there is a huge rumble. The building sways as flashes of light flood through the front doors and skylights in the lobby. Immediately glass shatters everywhere, from the ceiling lights and front doors to glass achievement awards and mounted TVs crash to the ground. Fierce winds rush through the building as the pressure changes. The flashes continue to illuminate the sky; this time around thunderous roars quickly follow shaking the building. The salesman wreathing from the sound covers his ears and runs into the coat closet for protection. The stairwell door, across from the lobby entrance cracks open. Fearful eyes peruse the damage before stepping foot into the ground floor chaos. The door is flung open, and a horde of people rush out into the open lobby. The salesman sees the people start to emerge. "Watch out! glass!" He struggles to shout fighting the wind sheer. No one can hear him. The thunderous noise grows louder as the flashes begin to subtly subside. A gathering of people in the lobby look for places to take cover and see what is going on outside. All of a sudden the building begins to tilt. "Everyone Outside!" somebody shouts. The gathering continues to grow as more people pour from the stairwell.
